Chief Slave: Is leader of a set of slaves within a House or Group. They rank higher than your average slave, they may have originally been a Body Slave, a House Slave or a Public Slave but cannot be a Nexus slave or a Sentence Slave.
Body Slave: A slave indentured to a particular individual. They were born a slave and have been trained and owned to be a Body Slave their entire life.
House Slave: A slave indentured and owned by a single House name. These slaves are slaves from birth and are owned by a particular name rather than a particular person, which means their masters are anyone within that House.
Public Slave: A slave owned by a public service, city, faction or group. They are slaves from birth and operate as a lower level of civilian to others. They will have a "manager" or "supervisor" in the form of a Chief Slave, who, in turn, will answer to a member of management within the public service in question.
Nexus Slave: Once a free individual, a Nexus Slave is someone who has entered into slavery through lack of options or voluntarily, in order to avoid or pay off debts. Their term as a slave has a fixed date and they will be returned to a free state when they have paid off their debts to whomever took them on in their place, in exchange for their service.
Sentence Slave: Once a free individual, a Sentence Slave is someone who has been forced into slavery as penance for for a crime. They can perform any of the above roles and are owned by a particular person who paid their bail to remove them from incarceration. They will be returned to a free state when they have worked for the allotted time they are sentenced for, based on their crime.
