Sexuality Determines Impression - We do not recognize sexuality based impressions here at Destiny of Pern. A male can ride queen and a female can ride bronze (has not happened yet) regardless of their sexual preferences.
Gender Based Impressions - Like Sexuality based impressions, we do not follow a gender-based impression belief at Destiny of Pern either. The dragons will pick male, female, non-binary, trans, it doesn't matter. The stated gender preferences are stereotypes within the culture of our AU Pern that is seen IC. The staff do not take Gender or Sexuality into account when deciding who to impress to what dragonet.
Females With No Power - Probably one of the biggest changes is to our females and those recognizing themselves as females. Pern is widely more acceptable of females in positions of power outside of a Weyr. They can rule a hold, become masters, and even ride up to Brown (Bronze riding females have not happened in our AU).
LGBQT+ - Our Site Canon allows for LGBQTs to be open and safe without any fear of persecution. Trans characters can identify with their preferred pronouns and bond to dragons/whers of their preference without gender or sexuality coming into consideration. Holds and Halls are also accepting of them. LGBQTs may impress any rank and are not bound to only blues or greens here.

[align=center] It is Turn 2160. Fort Weyr has gone mad. No one else can describe it other than the entire Weyr going mad; they've declared themselves Supreme Weyrleaders of the Northern Continent and have had anyone that voices against them murdered. Of course there is no proof that they order the murders of all the Senior Queenriders and their Weyrleaders, but everyone suspects them of foul play. With the loss of so many queens and their mates, all of the riders and holders submit to Fort's rulings. Fort then put into power the oldest Gold and her rider as Senior, subjecting the riders of the newer colors to discrimination and removing them all from any high positions within their home Weyrs.
Fort is ruthless - there is no one able to stand up to them and their rule. A small group of riders against Fort's rule defect and join up to search for a place far away from their grasp. This new rebel Weyr is Sanctuary Wherhold. Here the defector's must try and survive both the threat of Thread and the ever-growing threat of Fort.[/align]
