AtheniaThe palace has been raided by "insurgents". Little to the public know that these men were sent on the instruction of one Lord Elias of Stravos. The public explanation for the raid has been spread as rebels and loyal traditionalists insulted by the idea of changing the inheritance law to allow women to rule sooner than previously permitted. As such, the Senate has fallen into disrepute. Queen Persephone is missing, disappearing in the attack in order to save the life she believed was the intended target for assassination, while her sister remains closeted in the palace. The people of the city have been told that Princess Emilia was injured in the attack and is emotionally hysterical over the loss of her father and sister; in short, she is entirely unable to be seen in public. In order to support his family, Lord Elias has been seen at the royal palace more often than his own home, occasionally sleeping there. It seems, to the shrewd eyes of the Court that he is instilling himself into a symbolic position of power within the royal walls. As for the people of the capitol, the administrators and politicians within the Senate have been charged with keeping the populace calm by ensuring them well entertained and distracted with several events, though they cannot stop the gossip escalating when so many Athenians are in one place. The Senate itself is in disarray. With half the nobility in the capitol to attend the kings funeral and the other half back home tending the Athenian lands, any kind of organisation or continuity seems impossible. Lord Keikelius, however, has been sending our open missives to all of the nobility insisting that all join their brethren in the capitol and that an emergency Senate meet be held. According to his letters, he has important news and evidence to share with regards to escaped Queen Persephone and her late father. News that could change the course of history once more.
Recently, Athenia was engaged in two large events, the sewing of the traditional chiton garb of the Goddess Athena and a large gladiatorial event for the men of the capitol to go and spectate in, offering expensive and tempting odds on the bets and games of the stadium. Now, however, their attentions turn to the summer and how the great God Helios often plagues the Athenian kingdom who excessive sun. Normally, the winds of the seas keep the kingdom at least moderately cool in the summer months, but such sea-breezes seem only for Taengea this year and Athenia is suffering the heat...

ColchisThe city of Midas has now been almost entirely rebuilt. Used to the weather testing their mettle, the Colchians are fast builders and repairers and with the festival of Zeus looming as an encouraging deadline, the capitol has blossomed back into strength after the fires. Investigations are still underway with regards to whether or not the fires a few weeks ago were a simple accident or deliberately set. The Master Informer has been noted asking questions - especially to those who were in the deepest levels of the mines where the latest ore lode has been found...
With the rebuilding of their city, however, have come those that prey in weakened times. Pick-pockets, petty theft and small criminal units have started to find a home in the capitol of Midas. The Red Knights have been redeployed to the north, with rumours the additional man power is all King Tython needs in order to return home to the Colchian shores. With the loss of additional militia, however, the royals in charge of the capitol have had limited success in stemming the rise of criminal activity... Some worry that if such thievery continues those of a more dubious nature may be attracted to the Kirakles Isles.

TaengeaThe King returns from his attack on the Gorge north of the City of Vasiliadon. The battle against the Creed has claimed many lives and the decisive and efficient victory needed to secure King Stephanos' reputation as a great hero has slipped through his fingers just a little. Despite this, however, the combat did end in success for the Taengean forces with most of the shadow walkers dispatched from this world and sent down to attend upon Charon. The biggest boon of the fighting, however, was the successful capture of a Drowned leader. This particular cultist is sure to offer up a few secrets when pressed in the right manner... The King has two weeks to secure the information he might need from his hostage before the Senate is called by Lord Irakles in order to establish some hidden secrets regarding the last king's murder and the death of the original crown prince...
Taengea is in utter disarray! King Stephanos has been openly accused of treason by his uncle the Prince Irakles! Accused of murdering his father and older brother in a power grab for the throne, King Stephanos has been required, by the Senate to remain under house arrest in the Royal Palati! International matters have become delicate too as, only a few days after the current monarch as been - essentially - imprisoned in his own home, the summoned diplomatic party from Egypt has arrived! The timing of this means that Prince Irakles - as acting ruler - will be handling the negotiations. We can only hope and pray that the Prince's great wisdom as a military General will be able to see to it that negotiations do not turn sour!

BedoaThe Bedoan kingdom is operating in the quiet, secluded and private manner it always has, tribes travelling between and around one another as if planets following singular orbits. In recent weeks, however, the Somalu have travelled close to the Buuchu and are discussing trade deals, while the Zaire have reached the Northern borderlands at the same time as the Mekaki. With so large a populace with the Mekaki, the Zaire now have the opportunity to sell much of their wares, while the Mekaki are fortunate to be in the presence of skilled healers - the likes of which they have not seen in many months.

EgyptThe Egyptian lands are rife with decadence and the hedonistic ways of life that they are known for. As with all times of luxury, however, the generals and powerful men of the empire wish to show and pay homage to the new Pharaoh - whether for his sake or for theirs. In this way, they look to war; determined to impress their new leader with the power and might of their military forces, in the hopes of wealth and financial returns. They look to Greece to make the first move, strangely confident that, soon, their northern neighbours will make a move that offers the excuse of all out war.
The King of Kings has sent Osorsen H'Moghadam - the great General of the Moghadam Hei - to meet with King Stephanos of Taengea in the North. The journey has been a little less than a week from the Nile's mouth of Egypt to the southern shores of the Taengean isles, proving the power and might of the vessels to the Egyptian name. The diplomatic convoy has been summoned to discuss the rising issue of the cultist group known as the Creed. Originating in Egypt and now terrorising the southernmost Grecian kingdom, the Egyptians are eager to establish their connection - or lack there of - to the terrorist group and reaffirm the standing between Taengea (and by extension the rest of Greece) and Egypt. In the meantime, back home in Egypt, the Great Queen of the kingdom suffers terribly from her morning sickness and some of the Court are concerned for her safety. In the lower lands of the kingdom, raiders and bandits are attacking markets and open street sellers. Some rumour that the groups all belong to a single party... some forty strong...

JudeaThe monthly meet with the Mahnheeg leaders is being held in Israel. In this province, the Greek presence is undeniable but has always been peaceful. Now, with rumours that Egypt is on the move, the Israelites become nervous as a testy Egypt makes for a Greek enemy. And a Greek enemy means combat brought to the borderlands of their provincial city... In the meantime, however, market days continue and so do the punishing ways of Judean life...
