To Her Ladyship, Lady Nethis of Thanasi,
I am writing to inform you that, given my new findings regarding my identity - as you so generously revealed to me - I have decided there is no need for me to bother your royal self any longer, nor the other members of the noble House of Thanasi. You have no need of a peasant amongst your ranks, occupying a chamber that would be better suited to one more deserving than I.
As such, I shall be requesting I have my possessions moved to the servants' quarters at your earliest convenience. You may sell the excess as I shall have no need of it in my new lifestyle. If my lack of royal blood continues to be a weight on your mind, then I shall simply request a small sum of drachmae so that I might purchase myself a more appropriate hovel in my new home town of Nethisa.
Perhaps whilst I am there some criminal shall accuse me of impersonating a noble and I shall be cut down where I stand, thus putting me out of my newfound misery and unburdening you with the shame of having a peasant for a brother.
Kind regards,
Peasant
Nethis of Thanasi
