Good Evening 'The Insatiable Itys', your fan Ino here and I wanted to know how you are doing! According to the 'Gladiator Girls' newsletter subscriptions, you've been on the receiving end to unnecessary hostility recently. While I am not in Athenia to offer my support, I am writing to you like I have always done. Please do your best to tune out the animosity, you aren't there to entertain the unpleasant masses! You were placed in the rings to fight for freedom and the right to come home to your family again. Try to focus on why you were sent into the rings and your fans such as I!
In my opinion, I believe your fluctuating weight is part of your charm! But do replace the sweets with fruits such as strawberries and even sweet grapes, and try to exercise more often to build a muscle tone.
We adore you Itys, keep being yourself!
With regards, Ino

Hello, I am Ino, one of your fans! I've sent you many a missive and haven't heard back, but to be fair, other Gladiators haven't replied to any of my missives which is normal upon reading about the weariness of their work. I would love to ask how you are feeling? I read that one of your opponents have flipped you onto your back and knowing of your old age, I feel compelled to write to this opponent of yours the fragility of a decrepit man such as yourself. I feel he should have gone easier on you, nevertheless, my day has gone well...
I woke up today and went to the local library with my slave Lykon (The one I wrote to you about), I found another book about the birth of Aphrodite. Aphrodite is a Goddess in this land you may call 'foreign', she is the Goddess of Beauty and Love and one of the most beautiful women to walk upon this realm. I'm not entirely sure how many times she was born, but every birth is as magnificent as the last. I was wondering, who did you worship in your former land? I remember reading about one of the Gladiators shouting an unidentifiable name after he bested an enemy in the ring, it made me think that foreigners like you worship other gods. My mother told me that these gods of yours are false and the the only gods roaming this world are the Grecian Pantheon: no ifs, ands, or buts about it. I believe her, but I would like to know about the customs in your land of those deities you've worshipped before.
Write as soon as you can, Ino
